Smithtown High School East’s varsity kickline has been named the small high kick national champions for the 22nd consecutive year. The team attended the Contest of Champions Nationals from Feb. 28 to March 1 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. The Whisperettes also earned first place in the medium high kick category. The team is coached by Sarahbeth Cook, and led by captain Kelsey Finn, and junior captains Jayme Mattera, Lauren Quick and Skylar Park.
