The Port Jefferson School District wrestling team participated in the Section XI County tournament recently held at Center Moriches High School. Six wrestlers placed fourth or better in their weight classes and earned All-County honors. The district congratulates the following students:
Second Place – senior Anthony D’Elia (113 lbs.), two-time All-County recipient, two-time County finalist in his weight class
Third Place – sophomore Anthony Evangelista (138 lbs.), two-time All-County recipient
Third Place – junior Tyler Rogers (130 lbs.)
Fourth Place – eighth grader Frank D’Elia (99 lbs.)
Fourth Place – senior Jack Niederberger (285 lbs.)
Fourth Place – freshman Liam Rogers (113 lbs.)
