On Saturday, July 4th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Heritage Trust at a tree lighting held at Heritage Park in Mount Sinai. The tree was illuminated red, white, and blue to commemorate Independence Day, thank frontline essential workers, and honor those who have lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sign placed in front of the tree reads, “This 4th of July we give special thanks to our Frontline and Essential Workers, and dedicate this time in memory to loved ones lost to COVID-19. God Bless America!” The sign was sponsored by the Heritage Trust, Bob Koch, Newby Neon Signs and Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker.
“I am honored to partner with the Heritage Trust to honor our loved ones lost to the coronavirus, and support and thank frontline and essential workers across Long Island,” said Legislator Anker. “I thank Bob Koch and Newby Neon Signs for their generous sponsorship.”
